cca. 1907 The Lincoln “Turners” basketball team called the now famous Lincoln (Park) Turner Hall home for several decades. One of the many small neighborhood Athletic Clubs found throughout Chicago, the Turners played some of the city’s best teams; even giving the 1936 national champion Chicago Duffy Florals a close match.
