After honing their skills at the Detroit YMCA, winning Championships in 1922, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 1931, Joseph and George Jaglowicz started their own team.
George Jaglowicz a former University of Detroit football and basketball star and his brother Joseph were proprietors of Detroit's largest neighborhood shoe store and won nearly every important basketball championship in Michigan. They were State Recreation Champs and 8-time Inter-City champs.
They had "Red" Altman, Detroit's oldest basketball player with 25 years as a player coach, and fielded teams that included Detroit Lions football players: Wojciechowicz, Kapore, and Hanneman.
