Chicago Studebaker Flyers - 1942

 Chicago, ILLs 1942

The Chicago Studebaker Flyers were a National Basketball League team from 1942 to 1943. They were funded by the United Auto Workers and replaced George Halas' Chicago Bruins, who folded in 1942.
The team was an early experiment in integration, featuring at least eight African American players, most all former Harlem Globetrotters.
This PPLS original design is printed on a super soft heather sweatshirt.
