Chicago Canucks

Moose Jaw, SK 1930

The chilly Canadian town was nicknamed "Little Chicago" in the early 1900's. The SOO Line Railroad terminated in Chicago and thus was a main transportation route for bootleggers. Moose Javians claim to have seen Al Capone wandering regularly on its sleepy streets. No doubt he was checking in on the Canadian side of his business while becoming familiar with the vast tunnel system under the city.

The city also had a Jr. hockey team called the Canucks that was part of the Western Canada Junior Hockey League, considered the "rebel league".
