Brooklyn Visitations

The predominantly Irish Visitations enjoyed sojourns through

both the Metropolitan and American Basketball Leagues.

Also known by the alternate moniker the Triangles, a

reference to the layout of the three major Brooklyn

churches, the Visitations were MBL champs in 1923-24,

posting a league-leading 30.5 points per game. In 1927 the

Visitation Church purchased the Washington Palace Five and

joined the ABL.
